Hardline Web Co. Start a project

Independent web studio

Custom websites built from zero.

Hardline Web Co. creates custom websites for businesses, artists, brands, and operators, and handles the strategy, words, visual direction, development, deployment, and agreed support. No templates. No page builders.

35 projects in the index. Every one opens the real site.

Plate 01 / Selected work

Six projects from the index, shown at a size you can read. The desktop and phone views are real captures of the live sites, not mockups.

Plate 02 / Services

One studio. The whole website.

You are buying a website that communicates clearly and does its job, not a pile of disconnected design and development services.

Strategy and structure

The audience, the offer, the pages, the information hierarchy, and the actions each page exists to produce get settled first.

Writing and visual direction

The message gets clarified, then typography, color, imagery, and layout are developed for the business instead of borrowed from a theme.

Custom development

Responsive pages and the agreed interactions are coded for the project. Integrations are scoped only where they are genuinely supported.

Rebuilds and campaign pages

An existing site gets improved where it is dated, slow, or unclear, or a focused page gets built around one defined purpose.

Launch and post-launch work

Agreed deployment, domain configuration, analytics, handoff, and the updates, fixes, and additions that come after.

Not every project includes every service. The scope is agreed before the build starts, and complex applications, payment systems, or sensitive-data work are only taken on where the scope supports them.

WitchWatch

A community stock tracker run like a severe weather service: live sighting reports, retailer checks, and a spotter radar.

Livewitchwatch.info

The business
Community stock tracker for a hard-to-find energy drink.
The job
Let people search by ZIP or city, report a sighting, and see what has been spotted recently.
What was built
Nearby search, a sighting report that feeds a live signals board, retailer checks, and a spotter radar view.
Designed for
Someone standing in a store aisle on a phone, so the search and the report are the first things on the screen.
Current state
Live on its own domain.

Design intent, not measured results. Every project gets its own decisions, and none of this is copied to the next one.

Plate 04 / Process

Four steps. No drift.

The project stays concrete from the first conversation through launch, and you always know what is yours to bring and what needs your approval.

  1. 01 Scope

    Lock the job.

The business, audience, pages, goal, integrations, timeline, and price get defined and agreed before anything is built.

    You bring
The business, the goal, existing content, and the deadline that matters.
    Hardline handles
The written scope and the price.
    Approval
Scope and price, before the build starts.
  2. 02 Working first build

    Build the real thing.

Strategy, copy, design, and code move together into a working first build you can click through, not a mockup.

    You bring
Answers to the questions the first build raises.
    Hardline handles
    Structure, copy, design, and development.
    Approval
None yet. This is the version to react to.
  3. 03 Review and refinement

    Tighten the details.

Feedback, final content, mobile behavior, links, and polish get resolved in rounds until the site is ready.

    You bring
    Feedback and the final content.
    Hardline handles
Every change inside the agreed scope.
    Approval
Sign-off on the finished site, before launch.
  4. 04 Launch and handoff

    Put it to work.

Deployment, domain configuration, analytics, final checks, and the handoff of accounts, access, and next steps.

    You bring
Domain and account access where needed.
    Hardline handles
    The launch and the handoff.
    Approval
    The go-live.

Launch dates are set once scope, content, integrations, and approvals are understood. Late content, new requirements, and major changes are treated as changes to the scope and agreed before the work continues.

Plate 05 / Scope and support

What shapes a project.

Pricing is project-specific. It follows from the scope, and the scope follows from these.

What sets the scope

  • Site purpose
  • Content and pages
  • Integrations
  • Migration from an existing site
  • Commerce
  • Functionality
  • Timeline
  • Support after launch

The inquiry below asks for an approximate range, and not sure yet is a fine answer.

What launch handled means

The technical work of going live: deployment, domain configuration, analytics setup, final checks, and handoff.

Domain registration, hosting, and paid third-party services are separate, ongoing costs from their providers, not part of the build. The handoff states who holds the domain, the hosting account, the renewals, and the credentials, so nothing is ambiguous after launch.

After launch

Post-launch responsibilities are defined per project. Updates, fixes, and new pages are agreed work, not an open-ended promise.

There is no lifetime support, no unlimited changes, and no guarantee of rankings or business results. What Hardline does commit to is a site that launches correctly and a clear answer about what happens next.

Plate 06 / Start a project

Send the brief. Get the site moving.

Write the brief here or email directly. Either way it reaches the same inbox, and the reply is questions or a scope, not a sales call.

The form on this page prepares an email in your own mail app, with the brief filled in. Nothing is sent until you send it, and you can copy the text instead.
